I recently spent 10 weeks in Liberia, Costa Rica, teaching English with Projects Abroad. This is the mural I painted at my school; St Jesus de Nazareth in the barrio of Nazareth. Many children at the school had little idea of life outside of their own country or even city and almost no knowledge of world geography. I hope that a world map might increase their understanding and spark their curiosity.
